Madison de Rozario - Wheelchair AthleteWelcome to Madison de Rozario’s website! Thanks for dropping by. For those of you who have not been here before, Madison (Madi D to her friends) is an Australian Paralympian heading for Beijing.

At only fourteen, she’s proving to be a super sensation in her sport – wheelchair racing. She’s only new to wheelchair sports and the Beijing Paralympics was never a realistic goal. Isn’t it amazing how positive thinking works – somewhat inspirational.

Willetton Senior High School is famed for their excellence in education. Much of this is achieved through the pride the staff and students have in their school and in their peers. Their support of Madison has been overwhelming.

Thank you Willo!

With the help of funding from a few organisations and the Madi D store, Madison is able to continue training and competing at the highest level. The store is powered by CafePress.com and is a great place to see some of the inspirational, motivational and funny products that’s been created by Madi and Co. They make great gift ideas for fans, friends and family. Please enter the store by clicking "Madi D Merchandise" on the right and have a browse. It’s amazing what you’ll find!

The Legendary Frank Ponta

Anybody and everybody who knows Frank Ponta knows he's a legend. He has dedicated a lifetime to wheelchair sports.

Now in his seventies, Frank became a paraplegic at the age of 18. His athletic talent naturally drew him into wheelchair sports where he competed in no less than 16 international events all over the world.

Frank first won gold for Australia in fencing at the 1957 Stoke Mandeville Games. Three years later he was a member of the Australian team at the first Paralympics in Rome. His efforts resulted in two silver in field events. He then went on to compete in Tokyo, Tel Aviv, Heidelberg, Toronto and Dunedin winning four medals. Frank is also acknowledged to be one of the greatest wheelchair basketball players of all time.
